Description
Horse head. This bronze is a reproduction of famous Yuan-Ming-Yuan 12 animal heads, 250 years old. The 12 different animals heads belong to a part of the Spring allegory, before the buliding "Hai-Yi-Tang" in Yuan-Ming-Yuan imperial park. During the war in 1860, the 12 animal heads disapeared from the park. 5 pieces only of animal heads returned back to China after 150 years missing. 3 missing pieces are still in western countries. Unfortunatly 4 of them are lost. Horse is one of 12 chinese zodiac signs.
